The campaign was entered into the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) Awards that recognise, reward and celebrate the best and most effective online creative in Australia. Twelve categories were open this year with a record number of entries and TA was nominated in three categories, Branded Content, Social Media and Brand positioning.
Making Tracks won in the Social Media Marketing category which recognizes the use of alternative person-person channels such as word of mouth, viral, user-generated content, widgets, applications and guerrilla marketing techniques and took out the Best in Show Award for the best creative of the night. As the winner of Best In Show Making Tracks will be entered in the 2011 International MIXX Awards. Woo hoo!
In addition to the above, Making Tracks was also recently shortlisted at Cannes Lions Awards for Best use of Special Event. Unfortunately we didn’t win this one but still a great result to be shortlisted in such a prestigious award.
