A trip into Hungary down the beautiful river Danube, witnessing the breakdown of communism. This programme encompasses the depth and passion of the Hungarian people, from violin playing musicians in the spectacular capital of Budapest to the magnificent Lippizan horses as they go through a display of their considerable talents.
Other highlights include sailing and horse-riding, travelling by horse and cart across the Danube River to grape picking and Gypsy festivals. Programme culminates in a traditional wedding.
Most unforgetable are the brightly dressed village ladies pictured here, who dance to the Mick Jagger number "Honky Tonk Women".
